Samba Drumming Band With A Difference

Samba Espirito is a samba drumming band of 70+ members, influenced by Brazilian, African & other world musical styles. We play together to give the local community the opportunity to experience the energy of playing carnival music, and to learn to perform it for others to enjoy. We are based in Halton near Lancaster and play throughout the North West of England and further afield.

During Samba Espirito performances, exhilarating samba-reggae tunes are played on five different types of drum. The result is an exciting, vibrant & lively performance that grows our fanbase wherever we go!

Our colourful band reputation, both musically and in personality, goes before us and we want to tick all your boxes on your special events.

Samba Espirito was founded by the three Directors, Helen Eastwood, Stephen & Karen Dickinson, who have between them over 23 years’ experience of playing & performing at some of the world’s biggest & most famous carnivals.
